ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm Ryan Eldredge and I'm an Art Director and Graphic Designer.
I'm about to talk a lot. In case you don't have much time or you just don't like reading, here are the bullet points:
-
I've been interested in advertising and branding since I was a little kid. Just look at the sketches in my third grade journal for proof (if you want to dig through my parents' attic)
-
I love all things creative and I'm constantly trying to improve upon my creative skills. And non-creative skills. I just like being good at stuff.
-
I'm on my 3rd year on the Texas State University NSAC team, two as the Creative Director. Go bobcats.
-
I've experimented with nearly every art medium you could name. Go ahead, ask if I've ever tried _________.
-
I rebranded a cookie company in Austin - a dream come true!
-
I love movies (who doesn't?), cool tattoos, going to museums, and working out.
-
The most important thing in my life is the relationships I have with the people around me, especially my friends and family. Love you guys.
-
Traits I value and practice:
-
Effective communication
-
Diligence
-
Discipline
-
Empathy
-
Acceptance
-
Respect (like how I'm respecting your time by making you this nice bulleted list.)
-
If you're reading this, thank you. I'm glad I could keep your attention. Here's the longer version:
Ever since I was a kid, I've loved being creative. And I've always had an affinity for branding and advertising. I remember drawing ads in my grade school journals for the new Levi's jeans I got or my dad's new Infinity G35 (unfortunately they didn't make the cut for my portfolio). From drawing to graphic design to creative thinking, I'm always trying to improve my skills and make unique work.
Through various advertising and branding classes at Texas State University and participation in the National Student Advertising Competition (NSAC), I've been able to produce a lot of work I'm proud of. Our 2023 NSAC team won 2nd place in the nation, and I returned to the 2024 and 2025 teams as the Creative Director. My minor in Art has allowed me to experiment in different mediums - including drawing, painting, film, communication design, etc. - and learn a lot about layout and design from a non-advertising perspective as well. I also recently rebranded a cookie company in Austin - Kurty's Cookies. Seeing my work come to life was a dream come true!
When I'm not in school you'll find me working on art projects, watching movies, working out, and spending time with friends. I value nothing more than my relationships with my friends and family, and I put great emphasis on effective communication, diligence, discipline, empathy, acceptance, and respect.
